In 1998, a group of five MBAs in between their first and second years at the University of Colorado at Boulder sought a less traditional and more entrepreneurial internship. They decided that the best way to gain and share a breadth of knowledge in a variety of topics and to explore their entrepreneurial spirit would be to open their own consulting company. Thus, Entrepreneurial Solutions, LLC (ES) was born.

ES represents a unique opportunity for students to expand and share their knowledge from both academia and "real-world" experience with each other and their clients in both entrepreneurial and intrapreneurial companies. In addition, as ES is a for profit company, the team is also exposed to the pitfalls and the benefits of running their own company, enhancing their spirit of entrepreneurship and refining their management skills.

Each year, Entrepreneurial Solutions hires a new group of consultants. In January, first year MBAs submit applications and the previous year's consultants confer with faculty and administration to select the potential new members. Those selected then participate in an interview and the previous year's group decides to whom the ES torch should be passed. ES operates full time from May to August and on a more limited basis during the academic school year.

Each year's consultants bring something new to the company. In 2001 our advisory board was created. We believe that the experience of our board members and their advice to us (please see our page about our advisors) will enhance our ability to consistently provide excellent work for our clients.
